When we would be back…

No one anticipated this or expected this. Life as we knew has come to a stop. Looking at the bigger picture and for the better of the society we are following what is asked of us. Kids are missing their friends, even school (umm, yes I think they are) life events are postponed or even canceled and everyone is yearning to go back to “normal” life. All along we are trying to reason that this was a needed check to regroup, re-focus, re-align. And that is true too. But the question in everyone’s mind is when will everything re-start…as we are searching for answers and waiting for that to happen we need to know some things will never recover from this. Yesterday I read about a restaurant in Santa Cruz closing down for good. It was there for many many years and is part of people’s special memories. The high school seniors will never get their prom. They were so happy to be 2020 graduates, such a special date it was going to be but this one will go down in history as something different. Some losses will be small and some big. Some monetary and some not quantifiable. But one thing is sure we will thrive and would still land on our two feet and sure more empathetic and wiser.
